Inspiration
To me, art is all encompassing.
It isn't about a love for one particular genre, style or artist. Its a complex inter-twining of expressions across many different artistic genres that I have experienced throughout my own life. It could be something as simple as an arrangement of musical notes, an emotional written word, or the shape of a shadow wrought by a tree.
Our lives are not static. We hear a beautiful piece of music that brings to us intense emotions. We read a sentimental piece of poetry and with it arises a spirit of feelings that can seem so familiar to our soul, yet may be inexpressible within our own words.
This is the magic that art creates.
It has always been my desire to share my own personal impressions with those around me by creating my own interpretations of the things that have shaped my very being. Raised with a great appreciation for different cultures, extended studies in world history, archaeology, art, and spirituality, I believe it is only natural that the pathway of my life journeys would lead me to a lifestyle of creating objects that entwine all of these things.
It is my purpose, as the gentle craftsman, to create a thoughtful, meaningful, and purposeful tactile object for you to endear. It is my hope that a certain enchantment will fill your soul by the enjoyment you receive from what I create for you.

Artist Statement
Materials
I work with a large variety of different materials including organic stones, natural materials, crystals, semi-precious and precious gemstones, pearls and shells. I use a mix of metals for my chains, components, and settings. Pieces may include fine silver, sterling silver, silverplate, vintage brass, copper, gold filled, vermeil, as well as silver alloy solder.
I am always mindful in terms of selection of the quality of stones and gems to best allow the full metaphysical properties of the stone!
Many of my designs also incorporate a variety of unique and unusual beads and findings. Some of these elements include: vintage glass beads, antique and vintage china, porcelain, vintage findings, stained glass, vintage ephemera, wood, precious metal clay, natural and resilient (polymer) clay.

I offer symbolic and spiritual jewelry with thoughtful, meaningful purpose. My designs are inspired by ancient eras and cultures from across the globe as well as the mystical and mythical lore of ages past. There is something enchanting about past eras and the artistic gifts they have given to us. It is my goal to encompass this enchantment in my designs.
Whether ornate or simple in concept, each of my original designs is meant to compliment the spirit and personality of the wearer, as well as offer the metaphysical and mystical properties of the gems, stones and metals used in each design. Each item I create is lovingly handcrafted in my peaceful studio with the intent of blessings for the owner or wearer of each design.
