Historically Sapphires have been associated with the Heavens. It was very popular in Medieval Europe, where it was worn by royalty. In the Middle Ages, it was thought to protect people from evil thoughts, and was used as a talisman. Said to be a stone of prosperity. Once worn as a talisman to ward off illness or for protection during travel, also in the Middle ages sapphires were thought to ward off evil thoughts. Used to help eliminate frustration and fulfill dreams. Enhances intuition, promotes clear thinking and helps decrease depression. Used in meditation.

Used by the Egyptians for scarabs, which they wore as protective talismans. Used as a healing stone in the Middle Ages. Serpentine (New Jade)
Historically, Serpentine amulets were worn to protect against snakebites and poisoning. Serpentine as been used in jewelry and ornaments for thousands of years. Excellent for meditation.
